Getting to know ZITO is like getting to know me. It’s personal and vulnerable. Here’s a little more about why this brand means so much to me.

I’m Tzila, short for Tzipora-Tzila Zito. Named after my great-great-grandmother, Tzila, who upcycled clothing out of necessity in Soviet Russia. Her resourcefulness and love for her family inspire this collection and the rebrand of ZITO in September 2024.

When I launched in 2022 as Three by Zito, I wasn’t fully committed. I quickly jumped into a demanding corporate fashion job that drained me. I struggled to give my brand the attention it deserved, and at times, I considered giving up entirely.

But those struggles led me back to my passion. ZITO represents my journey of transforming corporate burnout into purpose, of showing up for myself, my vision, and my community.

Like Tzila, I believe in transforming what’s been discarded into something new and meaningful. Upcycling isn’t just a trend for me—it’s personal. ZITO is about turning trauma into art, destruction into beauty, and creating pieces that empower you to stand in your truth.

ZITO is more than a brand—it’s a promise to embrace individuality, resilience, and community. It’s a place for like-minded people who value creativity, authenticity, and imperfection--because we understand what it’s like to feel overlooked or out of place.

This brand is a piece of me—and now, I’m sharing it with you.
