ETHOS

ZITO is about individuality.

We are not about copying fashion trends in the fastest method possible, mass producing clothing to end up in a landfill, and contributing to an already problematic and toxic industry.

Phew, even writing all that stressed me out!

ZITO is about intention.

Every garment I design as the founder goes through an extensive process of fitting rounds, sketching, pattern adjustments, and fabric sourcing.

And anything that does not sell? We up-cycle. Deadstock fabric? We up-cycle.

We believe that garments should stay alive and worn the hell out of. And when they’ve lost that special something? We up-cycle.

ZITO pieces are produced locally, our latest bag drop up-cycled and hand-made in New York City’s garment district.

While no piece of clothing can be entirely sustainable, we do our best to utilize deadstock fabrics, up-cycled materials, and eco-friendly fabrics.

Thank you for believing in our slow fashion brand,

Tzila Zito
